This privacy policy explains what information VizionItNow collects, how we use it, and your choices. If you have any questions, email us at contact@visionit.info.

1. What We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, profile photo, and bio. You can optionally add social media links (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to your profile. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Content You Create

We store the content you create in the app on our servers: vision boards, gratitude journal entries (including mood ratings), goals and affirmations, community posts (including attached photos and videos), discussion posts, and audio journal recordings.

Usage Data

We use Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used most. This data is anonymized and aggregated — it does not identify you personally.

Crash Reports

If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects crash logs to help us fix bugs. These logs do not include your personal content.

Device Permissions

Certain features require device permissions that you control:

  • Camera & Photo Library: Used to add images to vision boards and your profile photo.
  • Microphone: Used to record audio journal entries.
  • Push Notifications: Used to send daily reminders, goal check-ins, and affirmation prompts. You can disable these in your device settings at any time.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Revoking a permission disables the related feature.

Device and Analytics Data

Firebase Analytics automatically collects anonymized data about how you use the app, including device type, operating system version, session duration, and which screens you visit. This data does not identify you personally and is used only to improve the app.

Health and Wellness Data

Your gratitude journal entries, daily mood ratings (0–100% scale), and affirmations may contain personal wellness information. We treat this data as sensitive and do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties, except as needed to store it securely on Firebase and process it for AI features you explicitly use.

Guest Mode

You can use parts of the app without creating an account (Guest Mode). In Guest Mode, your data (vision boards, gratitude entries, journal entries) is stored locally on your device only and is not sent to our servers. If you later create an account, your guest data is migrated to your account.

Advertising Identifiers

Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS) and IP address to serve ads in the community feed. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

Payment Information

We don't collect or store your payment details. All payments are handled by Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchases directly.

2. How We Use It

  • To run the app and provide its features
  • To power the AI Companion, goal coaching, affirmations, journey summaries, and AI image generation
  • To moderate community posts for inappropriate content
  • To send push notifications (only if you allow them)
  • To fix bugs and improve the app
  • To send important account-related emails
  • To comply with legal obligations — we may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government authority

3. Who We Share It With

We share data only with the services needed to run the app. We do not sell your data.

  • Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting
  • Anthropic (Claude) — powers the AI Companion
  • Google (Imagen) — powers AI image generation
  • Sightengine — reviews community posts for inappropriate content
  • Resend — sends transactional emails
  • Unsplash — provides image search for vision boards
  • Google AdMob — serves ads in the community feed (see Advertising section)

Community posts you share are visible to other users of the app.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where these service providers operate.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If VizionItNow is acquired or merged with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Advertising

The community feed contains native ads served by Google AdMob. These ads are labeled "Sponsored". AdMob may collect your device advertising ID, IP address, and app usage data to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Opting Out of Personalized Ads

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+)
  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

If you opt out, you'll still see ads — just not personalized ones.

5. AI Features

The AI Companion, goal coaching, affirmation generation, vision statements, and journey summaries are powered by Anthropic (Claude). When you use these features, your input is sent to Anthropic to generate a response. Conversations and coaching history may be stored in the app to power your journey experience.

AI-generated images are created using Google Imagen. Your image prompt is sent to Google to generate the image.

We don't use your conversations or content to train AI models.

6. In-App Purchases

VizionItNow offers optional paid subscriptions (Pro) and consumable credit packs. Credits are used for a variety of features including AI coaching, goal assistance, journey summaries, audio journal uploads, AI image generation, extra vision boards, and data export. Pro subscribers use all features without spending credits. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

To cancel a subscription, go to your Google Play or App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Google Play and Apple under their respective refund policies — we don't process refunds directly.

7. Data Security and Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days.

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

You can update your profile and notification settings directly in the app. You can delete your account from the app settings at any time, which removes all your data.

If you are in the EU, UK, or a US state with privacy laws (such as California), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children

VizionItNow is for users aged 13 and older. Users between 13 and 17 need parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at contact@visionit.info and we'll delete their data promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
